Aegis VoIP uses a robust and somewhat unique architecture to maximize call reliability and quality. In support of that, there are a few things to make note of:
We require our voice clients to purchase and use an Aegis-managed router at each site, this is a core part to our architecture extension to each client site.
For clients also using our connectivity for their primary network, our router must also be the primary gateway.
For clients using 3rd party vendor network cores (ie. CDK), we do work with these vendors and have specific integrations for these architectures.
To protect our voice networks and meet cybersecurity and telecommunications compliance requirements, we cannot not normally grant any form of admin access to Aegis-managed equipment for the duration that it is connected to our voice networks.
