Due to the highly variable nature of clients voice configurations, and our systems being tailored to client needs rather than being a "one size fits all (or none)", it is impossible to provide any semblance of accurate pricing. We do love to talk about our simple pricing model though, because VoIP is complex enough as it is, and billing should not be.
The costs you will need to consider for a voice deployment:
Site kit installation: we provide site kits but there are associated deployment costs. Some is on our end, and then you may have some on your end depending on your current setup and how you obtain networking support for your organization.
Initial hardware costs: This is for your gateways, handsets, desk phones, ATA's, paging adaptors, etc. We will determine if you already have compatible equipment that does not need to be added or replaced. We also avoid the use of proprietary equipment ourselves, because we do not believe in "locking" clients to us with hardware.
Initial installation costs: these will vary based on how we install. Some clients are able to install site kits and handsets themselves, and for others we send out an install team.
Ongoing costs: depending on your organization type and usage, we bill using different models to ensure fairness for both parties. For instance, non-emergency dispatch center phones would often be billed per user because the usage per user is generally consistent; but a school would be billed by channel usage because they have a high number of users/extensions yet a low amount of actual call volume across most of them. Telecom taxes are billed as separate line items, and an estimate can be provided during quoting.
Post-install additional: sometimes you need a new handset or an old one needs replaced. Desk phones also run operating systems now and are subject to hardware replacement cycles that need to be planned for.
AEGIS is a premium voice provider, and we must charge appropriate amounts to provide our clients with a premium level of service. No, we are not the cheapest you will find, we do not need to be, but we are the best out there and we are able to do it within similar pricing to many of the "big name" VoIP brands you see advertised around because we aren't spending our money on Superbowl ads.
